Denny x Bucks and Co.

The Denim Therapy.

The Brand

Bucks is inspired by authentic hunting goods. Taking inspiration from the smallest of details which are evident on hunting garments, such as the colour orange (warning/safety), game pockets(carrying dead foul), concealed bullet holders, 'D' rings (attachment for hunter's ID), reinforced pocketing & stitching. Any number of these inspiring but crucial details can be found on a Buck's garment.

Bucks is all about the "Modernist Hunter"...

In a world where hunters have evolved, no longer content with shooting down game and foul, the hunter gleefully adopts the playing fields of the big city bars and clubs to fulfill their alpha male urges. Competing with the pack to amass the most desirable of bed post notches and stacking up the rarest of 11 digits, all the while fending off the fiercest of rivals without so much as denting their honourable reputations, The Buck's man epitomises the "Ultra Alpha Male."

I recently collaborated with Bucks and Co., a brand that will revolutionize the hunting attire--think old school Abercrombie & Fitch but with flare. Bucks and Co. targets the casually dapper gentleman and is heavy on small details. Tailor fit and true to its size, they deliver everything from denim blazers, to vests and jeans. Assemble your dream denim suit with Bucks and Co. and make Canada proud.

TIME TO BREAK IT DOWN!!

For today's look, I decided to sport the Forest Denim Blazer. This piece retails for 150 pounds which is equal to $223.50. I normally don't rock expensive pieces but I recommend making exceptions for outstanding quality and execution. What I will do in this post is elevate my normally modest budget to $300. While this hike is a bit out of form for me, the look I will break down for you can actually cost much more than that if you decide to gather all the pieces needed from new and premium brands. True to my thrifter's spirit, I'll show you how to put together a casual Friday look by weaving vintage/reclaimed pieces around one more expensive stand out piece.
